BEEF JERKY BUT MAKE IT HOMEMADE

Hey Traeger Tribe! Today, I’m bringing you a mouthwatering recipe that’s a must-try for all jerky enthusiasts – Traeger Teriyaki Beef Jerky. As a dad, teacher, and Traeger expert living in Colorado, I love whipping up easy and delicious treats in my backyard, no matter the weather. This jerky is not just a snack; it’s a flavor-packed journey that combines the goodness of teriyaki with the unmatched smokiness from my Traeger grill.

THE PERFECT SNACK FOOD

Jerky holds a special place in our hearts – it’s the ultimate portable snack, and making it on the Traeger takes it to a whole new level. The smoky infusion adds a depth of flavor that sets Traeger Smoked Teriyaki Beef Jerky apart from the rest. The perfect marinade fills the tender beef with flavor, then the slow smoke dries the meat without making it tough, and imbues just enough wood-fired flavor for every bite to be delicious.

INSPIRED BY MY FAVORITE TERIYAKI BEEF JERKY

I created this recipe with busy days and flavor cravings in mind. If I’m at a gas station or convenience store, teriyaki beef jerky is always what I’ll gravitate towards. Slightly sweet, with a bit of spicy punch and full of flavor, it’s just the perfect blend of delicious. As a teacher, I know the importance of quick and satisfying snacks, and this teriyaki jerky hits the mark. Plus, the Traeger infusion gives it that extra oomph that keeps my family asking for more.

USE GREAT INGREDIENTS FOR GREAT RESULTS

For this jerky adventure, you’ll need quality beef slices, soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and Traeger Beef Rub. These ingredients come together to create a marinade that will make your taste buds dance.

GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO MAKE FLAVORS POP

Marinating the beef is key to the success of this recipe. Combine the ingredients, let the beef soak up those flavors, and then let the Traeger work its magic. Smoking the jerky on the Traeger not only imparts a smoky taste but also ensures it’s perfectly dried to preserve all the flavors. I highly recommend allowing the meat to marinade at least 24 hours before smoking if to maximum flavor infusion.
