- 1 loaf soft French bread
- 1 stick 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 garlic clove crushed or finely grated
- 1/4 cup Garlic Junkie seasoning reserve 1 tbsp
- 1 cup shredded cheese mozzarella and cheddar blend recommended
Preheat Traeger grill to 375°F.
In a small bowl, mix softened butter, crushed garlic, and 3 tbsp Garlic Junkie seasoning. Reserve 1 tbsp for topping.
Slice the French bread in a diamond pattern — cut both directions but do not cut all the way through the bottom.
Use a spatula or knife to spread the garlic butter mixture into the cuts.
Stuff shredded cheese into the slits, lifting and moving pieces to get cheese into every crevice.
Place loaf on a foil-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with the reserved 1 tbsp Garlic Junkie seasoning.
Place the tray on the Traeger and cook for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
Serve hot and pull apart to enjoy that epic cheese stretch.
Use soft, sliceable bread like French or Italian — avoid crusty baguettes.
Salted butter can be used for extra richness but adjust seasoning as needed.
Try mixing in Monterey Jack, provolone, or even smoked gouda for variety.
Cook while your meat rests on the Traeger for perfect BBQ timing.
