Shrimp and Sausage Skewers on the Traeger Flatrock

Equipment

  • Bamboo skewers
  • Traeger Flatrock griddle
  • Tongs
  • Basting brush
  • Mixing bowls
  • Cutting board + knife

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 jalapeño cheddar sausages sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Junkie seasoning
  • 3 tbsp Head Country Honey BBQ Sauce
  • Cooking spray or oil we used Graza Frizzle

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the Traeger Flatrock to medium-high heat.
  • Season shrimp with Garlic Junkie seasoning.
  • Slice sausage into thick coins.
  • Alternate shrimp and sausage onto soaked skewers.
  • Lightly oil the griddle and add skewers.
  • Cook 2–3 minutes per side until shrimp is opaque and sausage is browned.
  • Brush with BBQ sauce and cook 30 seconds longer.
  • Remove from griddle and serve hot.

Notes

Tips and Tricks:
Soak skewers in water for 10 minutes if you’re worried about burning.
Want it spicy? Add crushed red pepper or a dash of hot sauce.
These reheat well—store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
