Pull-Apart Pizza Bites on the Traeger

Pizza meets monkey bread in this delicious and quick recipe which would be perfect for a quick family dinner or as an appetizer to share during the upcoming big game. Customize with pizza flavors that you and your family prefer, and don't forget the sauce for dipping.

  • 12-well cupcake pan

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni
  • 2 links Hot Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1/3 cup Garlic Junkie seasoning
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your Traeger Grill to 425*.
  • Cook and crumble the hot Italian sausage and set aside.
  • Cut the pepperoni into 1/4ths and set aside.
  • Cube the mozzarella into 1/2 inch cubes and set aside.
  • Melt the butter in the microwave.
  • Spray nonstick cooking oil in each well of a 12-cake cupcake pan.
  • Unwrap the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into 1/4ths.
  • In a big bowl, combine the cut biscuits, the butter, and Garlic Junkie.
  • Stir to coat, and then stir in the pepperoni, sausage and cubed mozzarella.
  • Mix well to combine and distribute the ingredients.
  • Using a spoon or your hands, fill each muffin well generously with the prepared dough mixture.
  • Bake the muffin tin in the preheated Traeger for about 15 minutes, until golden brown and bubbling.
  • Warm the marinara sauce and transfer to a serving bowl.
  • Turn out the pull-apart pizza bites to a platter and serve with the warmed sauce.
