Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon

This cedar plank grilled salmon brings together Salmon & Sable’s incredible Alaskan fish, the tang of dill pickle mayo, and the gentle smoke of a cedar plank on the Weber Kettle. It’s quick, flavorful, and perfect for busy Colorado evenings in the backyard.

  • Weber Kettle
  • Cedar plank
  • Instant read thermometer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 salmon fillet
  • 1 cedar plank soaked
  • 3 –4 tbsp Eat Ayoh Dill Pickle Mayo
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp chopped chives
  • Kingsford charcoal

Instructions
 

  • Soak cedar plank 30–60 minutes.
  • Preheat Weber Kettle to 325°F over indirect heat.
  • Coat salmon with dill pickle mayo.
  • Top with lemon slices and chives.
  • Warm the cedar plank briefly on the grill.
  • Cook salmon on the plank for about 20 minutes or until it reaches 145°F.
  • Serve directly on the plank.

Notes

Try soaking the plank in cider or beer for extra aroma.
Add red pepper flakes for heat.
Use leftovers for salmon salad, salmon tacos, or a quick salmon bowl.
