This is a basic framework for a delicious and flavorful marinade for steak. Using a combo of simple and special ingredients, you can impart some fantastic flavor in whatever cut of steak you choose to use.

Ingredients

tablespoon
my Garlic Junkie seasoning by Spiceology

Truff Truffle Oil
1
chopped shallot
smoke your shallots on the Traeger for 15 minutes before using for extra flavor
1
teaspoon
prepared horseradish
1/4
cup
olive oil
1/4
cup
balsamic vinegar
A handful of fresh basil
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a dish and then add your steak.
Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, and up to 3 hours.
Once marinated, preheat your Traeger grill to 225*.
Remove steak from marinade and place in the center of the grill.
Cook for about 20 minutes, then begin checking the internal temperature.
Follow the instructions for Reverse Searing to achieve the perfect cook.
Once seared, rest for 5-10 minutes and then slice and serve.
Notes
For this cook, I used a hanger steak from Snake River Farms.
